Break-Up Letter

You probably saw this coming after the way you treated me. After everything I have done for you. How could you do this to me? Whenever you needed me I was there. Why couldn't you be there for me? Just once? You only ever cared about yourself. You made me feel like a cookie that just got run over by a garbage truck. Have my feelings meant nothing to you? You have always treated me like a back seat to all your other friends. I should have listened to my gut, way back when. Let me tell you something...I. Am. Not. A. Back. Up. Option! I deserve someone who will be there, who will care, who will treat me like I matter. Because I do! I am just better off without you anyway. Don't think you can come crawling back to me when you realize what a mistake you made. I don't give second changes. I warned you in the beginning that you get one chance. I don't need extra drama in my life. My family is enough. Sometimes I sit back and think to myself why did I even try? I should have just listened to my gut and not talked to you. I knew you were trouble, unfortunately for me I found out how much trouble the hard way. I would really like for you to never talk to me or look my way again.

Dear caffeine,

       For years you have kept me up at night and throughout the day when I needed it the most. Whenever I was tried you where there. What happened to us? One day I turned around and you were helping many other people.  I watched you charge people a fortune just so you could help them stay awake.  You never used to be so much, what happened?  Without you I am weak. Now I am forced to sleep at night because I know you are not going to be there in the morning to make sure I am up and moving. We had a good run but now I know we can no longer be friends. You have learned that I have nothing to offer you. I can see now that you have moved on to bigger and better things. I am finally letting you go for good. You no longer need to feel sorry for leaving me behind. I have finally found a new way to keep my self up. A better stronger version of you. Expresso and I will have a good live together.         When I think of Revenge, I think of getting back at someone who has done me wrong. Revenge is in almost every TV show you watch. Good Luck Charlie, Reba, Wizards of Waverly place, Pretty Little Liars, and more.  

 

 



 

Pretty Little liars is one of the biggest revenge shows out there. It is about somebody called “A” getting revenge on these four girls because they feel they have the right. Hannah, Aria, Emily and Spencer used to be friends with a girl named Alison before she died.  Alison was a very mean girl, she picked on everyone. After she passed certain people felt like they needed to get more revenge so they took it upon themselves to take it out on Alison’s best friends. Wizards of Waverly Place and Good Luck Charlie are more of sibling revenge. When a sibling gets mad at another one for something stupid. Like if I stole 20 dollars from my brother, he would probably be really mad and want to get me back somehow. It is not a serious revenge, just a feel better revenge. Revenge is not as serious as it used to be. In Hamlet Revenge goes as far as killing someone. Revenge now is stupid and little. Some people like to get revenge because there apple was stolen. If you think about it there are many kinds of revenge. Crazy revenge, obsessive revenge, sibling revenge, joking revenge, and more. Not all of these are very serious revenge but they can mean a lot to some people. As pointless as revenge is sometimes it is everywhere.

      Hamlet's father was murdered and Hamlet is now seeking revenge. I personally think that Hamlet is very bad at revenge. It is taking him forever to kill his uncle. At least in Pretty Little Liars "A"  gets right down to business. Hamlet likes to drag things out. I believe that revenge should be somewhat of a quick thing. No longer than a week but no shorter then thirty minutes to get revenge.

Taylor Swift Wrote a song called better the revenge-

Satire on The Real World

Satire is the practice of making fun of a human weakness or human character's flaw. The use of satire is often inclusive of a need or decision of correcting or bettering the character that is on the receiving end of the satire. Satire might be humorous. The purpose is to derive a reaction of contempt in the reader.

                This picture above represents satire; towards the “poor” because now a day’s poor people are not truly poor. Our government helps them out so much that they are not poor. They are getting a free ride and because of their free ride they don’t go looking for jobs. They get and make more off of the government then they would if they were working.  Many people who do not have money spend what they do have on drugs, alcohol, and other pointless things that they do not need. In this picture it shows a man who clearly does not need money because he as a computer right next to him but, people are still giving money to him because he is outside in old clothing. This picture shows that he is spending money on things he does not need and not what he needs to survive. Then he claims he has no money for his necessities and people are just giving him money because he looks like he has nothing. I think that if people got off their butts and worked for what they needed we would not have to give them money for things that they do not need.

                      

This picture represents satire to the fact that this man never really used his head to do his work. They are making fun of him because, him losing his head as not affected him.  They were going to fire him because he lost his head and normally when you lose your head you cannot work the right way but, this man did not really do much before so it did not do anything to him now. Now a days that is how people are they do not use their head to think and make decisions, they just do whatever they want to do. In reality you should have to use your head to do a good job but, lately people are just lazy and do not care what happens. People not using their heads have caused companies to go downhill. At my mother’s old job she had a boss who was getting paid triple what everyone else was being paid and he did not even know what he was doing. Everyone else was doing his job for him and he was getting paid for it. My mom’s boss was just like the guy in this photo; both did not use this head to work. So even if the company keeps them there it would not matter either way.

In conclusion Satire is used everywhere you go. You can find it at work, at home, at school, in newspapers, and on the internet. Satire is a form of sarcasm that is not meant to be taken seriously.
